I have been having 1:2:1 Spanish training with Daniel at Spanish in the City since May 2024 and it has been superb! The curriculum is tailored to my own legal practice areas and the aspects of Spanish where I'd like to improve. Daniel’s classes have been really interesting- his approach to ensure that we are learning about Spanish/Latin American culture and not only grammar, and encouraging active participation has helped improve my confidence. He also takes the time to go through anything you don’t understand and only moves on once he’s certain you’ve understood it. Would definitely recommend his classes for anyone learning Spanish.

Highly highly recommend joining Daniel’s Spanish classes. They’re engaging, light-hearted but professional, and tailored to the desires and needs of the students, and they’re really well-priced! Daniel goes out of his way to find additional resources on topics which may be of interest to us (even if it’s just 1 or 2 students who may care about that content)! I’ve attended two series already, and am signing up for a third. Can’t recommend highly enough!

As an absolute beginner, starting language classes can be daunting but Daniel is patient, friendly and enthusiastic and has made my introduction to Spanish very easy and enjoyable.

Group lessons are fun and engaging, and after completing the beginners course I feel very comfortable with the basics of Spanish. I would recommend him to anybody looking to learn and I’m looking forward to continuing more lessons in the new year 🙂
