USELESS. Call themselves "humane". Yeah, as long as you don't bother them when you find a lost dog. They expect the finder, YOU, to take good care of it at least until they feel like doing anything about it. Nobody answers the phone and they NEVER even bother to call you back. Apparently it's the dogs "finder" that they expect to do all the work for them.

Acted like they wanted to help find a home for a pit bull that was abandoned now they won’t answer or respond to any text yet taking in other animals, totally ghosted me. Now I’m stuck with this pup and no one wants him , horrible service

I called pick of the litter a couple weeks ago in the hopes that they would be able to find a loving home for a cat & 4 kittens. We found the cat on the streets very pregnant and decided to take her in and help her. When I first called, they answered & seemed like they would be happy to help. After telling me to send a description & photos to their e-mail I was super excited that these poor cats would finally find a forever home. Well.... after the e-mail I got ghosted, no return e-mail or calls. I have e-mailed, called, left messages, and no response. I don't understand why you would get my hopes up, make me send a description and pictures, just to never contact me again. That being said I still have a cat & 4 kittens that need a home & will probably go to the animal shelter which is sad. Pick of the litter could at least have informed me that they weren't going to help. I even said as much in my e-mails and calls, please just let me know don't keep me hanging on when you know you're not going to help me. Just a heads up for anyone who calls pick of the litter, even if they answer and act like they want to help you, don't get your hopes up! You might get ghosted just like me!!! Thanks for saying you wish more people were like me & then ghosting me!

This place is a joke. I've called multiple times, left multiple voicemails, left multiple emails to get VERY FEW responses back. I was told there were 2 temporary foster families my puppy could go to JUST until September 6th when my apartment was gonna be ready. The amount of times I tried reaching out only to get ignored. This place gave me hope AT FIRST. I've ran out of time waiting on these people. Now I have to take my dog to the pound. Please NEVER rely on this place for anything. They're awful. I couldn't even get a reply back. Even if they couldn't help me. It would've been nice to get a response back saying they couldn't. Instead they gave me the run around for over 3 weeks.

They are wonderful. Kristen genuinely cares about the animals and wants to ensure that they are all placed in loving happy homes. She saw to it that my foster pet had absolutely everything he needed. Awesome pet rescue!

I believe this nonprofit organization should come back and retrieve the mama cat and six cats she left at her old residence I have seen pictures of the cats from when they were in her custody before she moved. When she moved she put them outside and left them at 6 weeks old along with the momma. that is no way a nonprofit organization operates I wouldn't even give her one star. Also this will be report it to the Humane officer. Adopted a kitten from her and the kitten had been very well taken care of and was very clean and free of fleas. All vaccines were up to date and documented. She really has a giant heart for animals and volunteers an enormous amount of her time, money, home, resources, and love caring for these pets and making sure they are safe and placed in a forever home.

They have been so kind and helpful with a stray that was found. The poor thing was very sick and they have cared for him and made sure he received the bedecessary medical attention he needed! My Aunt adopted a dog from them as a rescue. They are a wonderful and caring organization!
