While there are often organizational challenges associated with the concept of "Emergent Care,"
This reviewer can confidently state that the medical staff here are extremely nice and care deeply.

One in particular, is a Mrs. Kat P. RN
All of the staff, though.. from the PA, RN, radiologist and the CNA were all so educated and professional, it really was a pleasure to be cared for by them all.

Sometimes there can be a wait to be seen, but it's not the end of the world.

The staff do a great job despite it being objectively difficult to decipher what is Urgent, from an Emergency, but they do a good job.

As a fellow health care professional I was very impressed with this urgent care. While the wait to see a provider was around 2.5 hours I still felt I was appropriately triaged and felt that the provider covered all of his basis! Thanks to Brad, PA for your help. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. The access to imaging is such a bonus! Worth the drive!

I myself have had bad experiences at this place. I was drug tested and accused of wanting drugs when I went in for STITCHES one time. Last month my face was extremely swollen from my eye to my throat from an infection, I couldn't breathe and they made me wait 5 hours. I was never seen. My sister went in today because she has blood and puss coming out of her stomach where her feeding tube was, an infection. She not once asked for drugs, she wanted tests done but the PA put in her file that she was drug seeking. This place needs to get their Staff in check. How many bad reviews does there need to be until someone sees that there's a problem here?! People's health is NOT a joke, not just another paycheck. You all should be ashamed at how you treat people, and what you allow your PA's and nurses to do. I wouldn't even say doctors because you never see an actually person. Do better with your staff.

Brought my daughter for an acute illness. The staff was great. Saw the PA, Alyssa who was fantastic, efficient and professional. Explained everything. Erik the RN was very nice and accommodating. We were very happy with the care and experience.

I went to Malta Urgent Care 8/12/2024 around 9:45p for chest tightness, increased effort to breathe, felt like my heart was skipping beats, and itchy lips. I was prescribed a medication that I was not aware I was allergic to earlier that day.
Amanda (the PA) and Lauren (my nurse) were AMAZING! I was so scared but they made my experience a lot more relaxing and I felt very secure with both of them. Amanda was so calm, confident, and sweet with an excellent bedside manner. But what I will say that made one of the scariest things I’ve ever experienced so much better was Lauren. She was so sweet, funny, confident, and just made me laugh. Her bedside manner was the best I’ve ever experienced. I’m a very hard IV stick and she got it on the first go!! That has NEVER happened to me before. Plus, she showed me pictures of her two Aussies, which made it that much better.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Malta. I was brought in immediately, handled with great care, and discharged feeling so much better. Thank you Amanda and Lauren, along with everyone else I met, for your help!!

I have been to this facility 3 times this month. Twice for my daughter and once for me. We both were sick with bacterial pneumonia. This place was amazing. All the employees were fast, efficient, and competent! From check in to triage to x-ray and doctor- I was so impressed by there knowledge and standard of care. If I am ever in need of medical care, this will be my first stop.

I live in NH but was in the Malta area for a reunion when I fell face first onto a concrete sidewalk. My husband and a friend brought me here, the staff took me right in, got a CT scan, blood work, sutures and instructions for follow up when I got home - all in 3 hours. Dr. Hawke and the nurses were great, getting me out of my pain and explaining everything. They gave me a CD with the CT scan which made my follow up with specialist so much easier. It's tough getting medical help away from home, but this was top notch care.

Reason for visit: daughter having chest pains. PA spoke so fast neither my daughter or I could even understand what she was doing. We waited 5+ hours at Saratoga Hospital last night, they did blood work, EKG and x-rays but never even called us with the results. Did this PA even acknowledge that NOPE!!! Not only did PA Kaitlin not listen to my daughter or me, she was in the room for less than 2 minutes. Then comes in RN Vonny (heavy accent, hard to understand), who then asks all the same questions as PA Kaitlin did. Seriously people? Oh and then RN Vonny has her back to both me and my daughter and says "what is your name" so we both responded. Then she tells me to stop yelling and I wasn't even yelling. Perhaps you should address your question properly and not keep your back to us so we can understand which one of us you were talking to. Don't waste your time at the Saratoga ER or Malta Med. Something needs to be done with both of these providers as they are failing patients badly! Both are a waste of time and energy. We are now on 8 hours of wait time between the ER and Malta Med, still no answers as to why my daughter is experiencing chest pains. I'm also sure they will be billing insurance for both visits and overcharging. Unbelievable!!!
