I had to stop by this place to grab lunch and I didn’t regret at all!

Like many people said here, the portion was HUGE, which lasted a few meals. Its price was pretty good too - I had a large sized portion with jerk chicken, salad, rice and peas for only £16.

The jerk chicken was the bomb. It had a great flavour but be beware, it was a bit spicy (I’m a big spicy eater).

I highly recommend this place. It’s one of true gems in London

Best jerk chicken I had while in London - EASILY!

Everyone recommended stores in brixton, which I visited too, but I found Jerk in da Park much much better.

This spot had a lot of flavour and the chicken was charred to perfection. The smokiness of the chicken really made it amazing.

The rice and peas were moist, flavourful and they topped it with some gravy for me. So so goooooood

+10 points for the chicken being cooked in an oil drum !!!

Service was also amazing, the guy on the drum gave me a free leg piece to try.

It is a bit spicy so be ready! 10/10 best meal I had in London

Da best jerk chicken in London!! So so delicious even when not having it warm.

Charred and flavourful and hot sauce was really spicy. Tried their grilled fish too and also amazing flavours and even spicier the chilli sides. Definitely worth the 30mins wait for the price and the generous portion!

I’m saying it.. Best JERK CHICKEN in London! These guys been doing it for 15years & are serving up fresh, smoked off the grill Jerk. I used to travel an hour to go to The Original Tasty Jerk in South London but these guys are great.
Owner mentioned “We don’t use microwave here” & this is where local Caribbean shops go wrong & use sauce as the flavour. This jerk is so tasty & smoked you don’t need sauce defo worth the wait!

Went for the first time. Had rice and peas with jerk chicken and hot sauce.
The hot sauce is no joke, I suggest having it alongside a sweet sauce like ketchup.
Really great value as I only paid £10 and the portion is large.
Food was lovely.

Can’t say enough good things about this one of a kind food experience! Saskatchewan, Canadian travellers here - always searching for authentic Jamaican eats on our travels. This place is now #1 on our list. Great portions, amazing flavours and top notch Jamaican vibe/hospitality. We had the Jerk chicken and Oxtail meals. Also purchased some of their tonics and Hot Mango Sauce. Would have gone more but unfortunately found them on our last day in London Town. See you next time….Guaranteed!!!

I have got to this place based on a recommendation of my friend. And after experiencing the meal form the place, I would do the same.
I had never got jerk chicken before visiting this place, but when I got to the stand, I heard just praises form people around. I can agree that the taste is amazing and the portion size makes you very full.
There is no sitting area directly at the place, it's mostly the stand in a park. The meals are served directly in take away boxes. I ate my portion while sitting at a bench in the park.
It's the best/easiest to eat the meal with your own hands, especially the chicken. Because of that, you will have your hands dirty and suitable for washing afterwards. I have found some tap with water in the park, which is very convenient for this kind of case.
Expect a long queue, and I mean really long and slowly moving queue, to get your meal. Get to the place earlier, because the meals are sold out for the day at 1 PM without any problem.
