Avoid Cece Johnson at all cost.

She did not represent my father in law at all. She represented herself and her own interests. We should've seen her intent when she showed up at his doorstep the day of the funeral of his partner with a market analysis telling him the best time to sell is NOW. We haven't even considered selling at that point.

Fast forward to listing the house, she lists it 20k under the price my father in law wanted. 3 days after being on the market she tells him to reduce the price EVEN MORE because the clock is ticking. Whose clock? Hers of course. After a few prospective buyers, he gets an offer for under the listing price.

Despite the ad listing NO WASHER AND DRYER included, dear Cece decides to include it in the contract without asking my father in law. He's not good with technology so he trusted her and signed the contract without checking the fine print. His fault, I know.

She then proceeded to tell him to refrain from packing as the buyers are cash strapped and their financing might not even go through. That lasted until 10 days prior to the closing date!!! We decide to get him a moving company to ease his stress and got it all set up for the Monday of the closing. He asked her to file a post closing occupancy agreement and she immediately dismissed him saying that's not possible. Without even checking with the buyers!!!! Just flat out refused.

1 week before closing she tells him to vacate the location on Sunday at midnight otherwise he's in contempt and will be sued!!!! Mind you, the final walkthrough wasn't scheduled until 1 pm on Monday. 0 humanity in this woman.

And the cherry on top. She proceeds to give the keys to the buyers before the funds have cleared. Who's in contempt now? Who's liable?! Us of course....

Just an all in all horrible experience. My father in law was taken advantage of and went through great stress because of a so called experienced realtor. Luckily he'll get to see what a true realtor is, now in his buying process. Save yourself the trouble and avoid her at all costs.
