Scam - My wife signed up last September for a course to run in October and subsequently paid £400 upfront. About a week prior to the course due to run she hadn’t heard anything so contacted Roma to find out what was happening to then be told that the “tutor” was ill and they’d rescheduled to November. A week prior to this course meant to be running she still hadn’t heard anything so contacted Roma again to find out that this had again been cancelled but she had made no contact with her. Roma then offered £50 discount which she would get refunded to her for inconvenience and to give them one last try in January 2024. Lo and behold no course was going to run, £50 that had been promised to be refunded hadn’t and at this point she asked for a full refund to be told that this takes 21 working days…yes not 21 days but 4 weeks and a day! Now never have we come across a company that takes so long to process a refund but my wife waited until the 21 days and yes no refund was given. It took her to explain that she would contact her card issuer and the police as she now believed this to be a scam. Roma promised my wife that this was an oversight and not to involve the authorities and that the refund would definitely be in her account in 5 working days. Now if you’ve read this far you’ll probably know what happened…..no refund so more phone calls and stress to be told it had been issued and would be 3 - 5 working days. Now eventually the refund has been received but I urge you to think twice about using this company as you’ll probably not have any course and take an age to get your refund. Just to recap this took a total of 29 working days for this and a lot of stress
