Wir hatten eine Immobilie zur langfristigen Anmietung auf ThinkSpain gefunden, die uns gut gefiel. Wir nahmen Kontakt auf und Lieke meldete sich bei uns und wir konnten in Englisch miteinander kommunizieren. Das war hilfreich, weil wir (noch) kein Spanisch sprechen. Da wir nicht vor Ort sein konnten, musste sie eine Reihe von Fragen beantworten, was sie geduldig auch tat. Dann organisierte sie auch kurzfristig eine Onlinebesichtigung und fasst von sich aus auch noch einmal alle Zahlungsdetails per Mail zusammen, sodass tatsächliche Transparenz erzeugt wurde. Dies alles ist absolut nicht selbstverständlich! Da haben wir ganz anderes schon erlebt. Obwohl wir uns letztendlich für ein anderes Haus entschieden haben, möchten wir uns aber auf diesem Weg dennoch bedanken.

Lieke has been helpful and proactive throughout our buying process. We contacted her at short notice for a viewing and she went out of her way to arrange for us to see it just a few hours later. We bought it (it was the last house we saw of 18 properties!). Lieke recommended excellent lawyers and is now helping us set up our life in Colmenar. Her husband is also hugely helpful in sorting things around the house. They both know the area well and understand how to get things done: This has made it so much easier to start our adventures in Andalusia.

Absolute joke of an agency. I drove 1h 20 mins to see a property with a swimming pool I took my employee to be able to speak incase they didn't speak English, I arrived all good until the lady had the audacity to say they had a bad experience before (not sure what that has to do with me) so the landlord wants to check the property every 2 months. This is absolutely ludicrous! Unless your offering 70% off the rent why would anyone be happy to have a landlord come inside the property when you are paying the rent. Tell the person over the phone at the bare minimum with a crazy condition like this.

As has already been stated the pool was green when we arrived, it was a cess pit which couldn't be used for the whole of last year. As for your meeting, you never confirmed a time the day before and refused to communicate with us unless we met with you whilst the land lady was present. The pots were damaged by the wind, pots amongst other personal items you said would be removed. We left the house clean but you already know this, just as you knew the state of the pool and garden when we arrived. As for the rent, electricity etc that was to come out of our extortionate deposit. It has taken the owner three weeks to give us just reason for withholding our money and only today we received an email with a ridiculous figure and absolutely NO justification for the theft of our money (nothing itemised). I hope you keep this property off your website because the owner is nothing more than a greedy thief and since you didn't bother to help us when you knew the condition of the house when we arrived the very least you can do is ensure no one else is conned out of their money like we have been.
The plants were dead because we had LIMITED WATER during the summer! Some days there was no water at all!!! We prioritised bottling up drinking water for when the water would be switched off over feeding the plants. How outrageous of anyone to assume under these conditions it is necessary to keep plants alive over people. We paid a month in advance so to say we never paid the rent for August is absurd. We are still awaiting the itemised bills for other things over 3 weeks after we moved out.

Do not rent CASA SIERRA.

Star Properties arranged with the owner to remove the furniture as we had our own and this was done. Upon leaving, the owner has scammed us out of our deposit for claiming on 'missing' furniture. She is also claiming for damage that we reported when we arrived. SP are our witnesses to the above and they have done nothing to rectify this injustice. The pool was a kin to a cess pit and we had to clean it ourselves eventually, as she got no one in to do it. The garden was littered with rubbish and overgrown, again we tidied this ourselves. Jacuzzi doesnt work and never got fixed despite asking, yet SP still advertise it as a house with a jacuzzi. Fourth bedroom is locked up for their storage. (Still advertised as four bedrooms) Mould and damp in the house that was never dealt with despite informing the owner constantly. SP REFUSE to discuss anything with us personally but continue to communicate with the owner, will only meet us at their office if landlady is present. A one sided gig, avoid at all costs.
