Patrick was fixing my kitchen sink for me (great repair btw!) & I mentioned heat was out & that A. Johns*n Co said I needed a new system at $10K. Patrick said he’d take a look-less than an hour later the heat was on, I was warm & beyond thrilled! The only thing wrong was a $25 part needed replacing. Patrick saved me from a costly & unnecessary repair! I altered the name of the other company so they couldn’t scrub it away- don’t trust A.Johns*n Co, they are dishonest as hell ($500 for a service call?), go with Patrick at Efficient Heating & Cooling!

After calling 6 different local companies efficient heating and cooling was the only one to return my phone calls. They had my maintenance service scheduled within a week. They arrived on time and 5 minutes early! 2 guys showed up and they were both respectful and answered all of my questions easily. A few hours after they left I wanted to try out the heat and it was not turning on. I called and left them a message about my concerns and within 2 hours I received a phone call back and he came out at 7PM to see what was the issue. It was a small issue that he fixed with ease! Needless to say they have earned a new yearly customer and I am extremely satisfied with their great service. Will recommend to others looking for a good and reasonably priced HVAC tech.

I had the worst experience ever with this company! I do not recommend them unless you want them to take your money and never follow through and fix your furnace! I thought they were good in the beginning first night they came over cleaned my furnace told me that was the problem it turned out not to be the problem turned out to be a blower motor he orders a new blower motor call never installs it takes the old blower motor with him to order another piece and he has been ghosting me for four weeks nowTook my money and it’s not returning any of my phone calls at all concerning my furnace! I would not hire these people if they were the last company on earth! Horrible horrible horrible do not use them unless you want to say goodbye to your hard earned money! I had to give them one star in order to finish this review they don’t deserve any!

Woke up this morning to our furnace completely not working... 50 degrees in our house while it was 20 degrees outside - we were cold!! ?

Called a couple of places between 8 and 8:30 when they opened... Patrick was the only one to call back by 9a. Josh was able to fit us in for early afternoon, was prompt and courteous, and quickly diagnosed our issue and fixed it fast! A *little* pricey for such a quick, easy fix (needed a filter of all bloody things!), but that is our fault - not theirs. Gotta have your hourly rate for this specific skill set! ? They were there when we needed them (when no one else was) and if it was something major at least I know it would have been taken care of. Makes it all worth it, and I am so thankful! Looking forward to being toasty tonight. ?

Wouldnt hesitate to call them again and I will absolutely recommend to anyone that needs heating/cooling guys. ?

Patrick sold and installed a new hot air furnace with central a/c and a tankless hot water tank. Excellent service and he went above and beyond our contract to see that he had a satisfied customer. Great price and great service. Highly recommend him.

Do not go with this company. They did a completely shotty job at a furnace install for me two years ago. After a year, the blower motor went out on the brand new furnace. Upon calling a reputable company to check it out, they informed us that the wiring was done so poorly that it shorted out the motor and we were lucky that our house didn’t burn down. Another year passed and our less than two year old furnace was not keeping up with the thermostat. Another company came in and informed us that the AC evaporator coil was entirely crusted with dirt and dust, and that it should have been cleaned with the furnace install to prevent ventilation issues. We now have the pleasure of paying for constant fixes due to the installation job which another technician described as “looking like death.” Stay away at all costs.

Called to fix parents furnace. Ordered a part that didnt work, and wouldnt refund money. Threatened to charge me for a new furnace if I continued to argue. Now no heat for over a week and I have to call someone else. Good thing I used a credit card.

Super disappointed with this company. Was very quick to answer an after hours service call, which gave me high hopes in terms of service skill.

Informed me that I needed a $100 brand new part, and $150 for the service call. Fair enough. Said that the part would be in a week from then, and that there would be another $100 service fee to install it. Sounds routine. Even offers me space heaters. The wait time for the part sucks but this guy seems to be on the ball, so I let him run my charge card.

Day of delivery comes and he blows me off, but calls me the next morning. Says hes on a service call but will stop by right after.

Gets to the house, and figures out that the part he ordered doesn't work. He's not sure if he ordered the wrong part, or if it just got broken in transit. I'm a pretty understanding guy, and I understand that people make mistakes, and that things happen. That kind of went out the window with how he handled the situation from here.

The guy then spends $80 on a used eBay part which he flat out tells me he has had trouble with in the past and cannot guarantee. I ask him what happens if the part fails in a week, and he literally told me, "well were gonna just hope that doesnt happen"

Then I ask him why I've got to pay $80 more for a part that he cant guarantee, and he tells me hes going to cover it, but wont be returning me the $100 for the part that he already ordered... on top of that it's gonna be at least another week (couldnt even spring for over night shipping) with no heat for my parents.

Then he finished off the conversation by telling me that if I wanted to keep arguing, hed just charge me for a new furnace. Pretty much a conversation ender. I'm not bill gates. I'm just a 26 something year old that wanted to help his parents get their furnace fixed, now this guys basically telling me hes taking my credit card to the cleaners.

Ended the phone call and called my credit card company. I Ended up having to have my card turned off so that he couldn't make any charges against me. Seriously man... now were looking at a cold week ahead and I've gotta find a new HVAC guy.

I think this company is awesome! My AC went on the blink and after a couple hours, the AC tech couldn't figure out what was wrong. I called my brother Patrick and after he talked to this guy, it took 15 minutes for him to fix my AC!! Thanks again Patrick!!!
