We recently went through the home buying/selling process for a second time with Mark and his team. We sold our first home back in 2020 and it was under contract within 24 hours on the market. We knew we wanted to use Mark's services again when selling our home again and buying a new one. We weren't in a rush to sell our home as some updates needed to be made before putting it on the market. Mark stayed in contact with us through this process and was open to multiple discussions regarding the current market and insights into what we should list our house for. We went out of town for a long weekend while Mark's team listed our house for sell and hosted an open house. Upon returning home, we had 7 competitive offers. Mark spent time with us talking through each offer and the pros/cons to each. He was an advocate for us when needed in the negotiation process.

On top of all Mark and his team did for us in the selling process, they put just as much effort into the buying process. We worked with Mark over a 2 month period to look for a new home. He was always available to meet to look at houses, most of the time the same day we sent him houses we were interested in. He provided curated emails of listings through their search portal as well that made it easy to look for houses. The buying process was very seamless for us.

We know we will use Mark Mahaffey and Associates again in the future if we have any more buying/selling needs!

We chose Mark Mahaffey & Assoc because of all the great reviews online. Those reviews were not overhyped. We had Nikki Hudson as our realtor and she was so great to work with. She was always super responsive when we found houses we wanted to view and sent a ton of other options based on our feedback. My husband and I found our dream home fairly quickly and since we chose to work with a lender they had suggested, Nikki and he went to bat for us when we thought it was a no go, we close on 3/15 and could not be more excited. I cannot recommend working with them enough.

My husband and I worked with the Mahaffey agent Angie Buffington primarily and Mark on a few occasions throughout a twelve month period. We were relocating from Atlanta to the Athens area, had no clue what community would suit our needs, etc. Mrs. Buffington was everything anyone could ever dream for in an agent. She showed us somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 homes, negotiated contracts for us on four homes, supported us with inspectors, roofers, painters, and contractors.
