I lived there about 2 years give or take and I was also maintenance there as well so I know how it is from both sides.
I think that the manager/cop wannabe is a clown. We bumped heads numerous times. And I have seen Bobby and Freddy harass people just walking through the apartments minding their own business. I have witnessed first hand them talking to the people they cuff real disrespectful like.
Around when COVID made a big mess times got a little hard where I had to get renters assistance through s program where they had paid up to 6 months of my rent and electric bill. Which as soon as the check came in it went directly to the management team..
I had came home from work , because I was eventually released by the management, I had found a note on my door telling me that I had to move and they would not be renewing my lease. After had being there for 2 years, and them still having my renters assistance check in their possession.. Middle of February, snow on the ground and no where to go they put me out on my butt. They new I was really close to a few people that if needed they'd help because we were all like family and guess what that clown Bobby did? He had banned me from the property knowing that I'd had friends that cared about me like family and would not let me stay out in the cold....but Bobby being his "smart" self decided to make it hard on me by telling all my friends that I was banned from the property. He not once approached me to tell me like a coward. So my opinion is the staff are a bunch of clowns that wannabe police but probably couldn't make it on the force. And one more thing....when I said staff, there is one staff member that I was not referring to not a bit. She is actually like my sister. She knows who I'm talking about. Miss you sis.

It’s been nice living here and will probably continue until life says it’s time for a house. It’s been over a year and there’s not any complaints. We have 2 large dogs that we are able to walk at any point of the day and night. There’s quiet a few friendly tenants that we’ve grown to love. The office people are great, I could easily spend a few hours chitchatting w them if I wanted. They’re reasonable people and work with you when and where they can. Maintenance has dealt with our problems pretty timely and they keep the property nice and clean. Shoutout to Roro for riding around on his lawnmower keep the lawns tidy!!! We appreciate the hard work and efforts that all of them do to make it a nice place to live.

Highly recommended!!! nice, friendly, staff !!!super affordable and they're going to be building a pool I think they are working on this apartment complex. Absolutely love this place and would recommend it to anybody. Everything is going to have its issues, but they work with you here so if you're looking for something on a budget, something that doesn't break the bank in this pandemic! this place is amazing. It will make you feel safe and at home it's very quiet also and they do accept pets. They work with you on the deposit, as well as the pet fee. Bobby, Adriana and Haley are all super friendly, funny, and awesome. The leasing office will make you feel like you're right at home. They love to interact with their tenants. Super fun environment. I had a great time. I'm looking forward to living here as well as my husband, As I prepare to buy a house in the future I'm from Phoenix Arizona so I feel right at home. I'm excited about moving in.

It’s really a nice place to live. Things are handled in a timely manner and the staff is very friendly. That being said they will screw you in the end. We spent hours cleaning top to bottom on moving day AFTER the gate hit one of our vehicles because it wasn’t working properly (yes it caused damages). While waiting on our refunded deposit it finally came and we received $60 out of the $350 that we paid. They said there was trash in the kitchen which there was not. The only thing they HAD to do was repaint a wall in the living room. We were always good tenants - never late on rent never caused problems. But if you move in expect them to screw you over when you move out!

Experience was great! We lived at the apartments for a full year. We didn’t have enough credit to get the apartment but they worked with us if you are honest with them. Quiet neighborhood good neighbors. The gate was installed a little before we left but we loved it! We did have some repairs while we lived there but they get it done (: very affordable as long as you pay your rent and don’t cause issues you will enjoy your place. i would recommend!

I've been living here for almost 3 years, and this has been one of the best apartments I've lived in. I'm most impressed with the management. I've lived in apartments where the facilities were modern, pricier, beautiful but the management was so-so to non-existent at best. There is a sense of community here because many of the residents who live here know each other faily well. Most of the staff live on-site, so they take a vested interest in keeping the place up.

Maintenance is constantly busy remodeling the buildings. The maintenance team seems to always be busy doing something - remodeling, fixing a toilet, a leak, fixing an air conditioner.

And security is also pretty good. They constantly interface with the police who drop by on a regular basis, so I feel pretty good about the safety of the complex.

Management is very good about keeping residents informed. It's not uncommon to see notices clipped to your front door reminding you about pest control coming by, any new ordinances they've put in place, or notifying intention to enter your domicile for inspections.

You will also get texts about freeze warnings during the winter with instructions to drip your faucets and put your thermostat on emergency heat. This helps them avoid costly repairs from burst pipes. So if you're not used to the icy / winter weather of Oklahoma, management will at least give you a heads up.

As an older complex, I like the wide parking space. You will have to walk about 30 feet to your car from your apartment. So there's definitely plenty of space between the stairwell, to the sidewalk and your car. So be mindful when carrying items in the rain. This apartment doesn't feel like your typical "unit" of three-story buildings. Each two story unit is spaced out. I like going for walks during my breaks while working from home. I like seeing trees and grass at different apartment units.

I also see plenty of people walking their dogs in the morning and little kids playing with their friends outside. This was the defining factor for me to live here. If kids were safe enough to play outside with their friends, it was fine for me. I've lived in an apartment where you might have the occasional kid, but hardly anyone stepped outside. It's not like that here. Do be careful when driving through the complex because there are children who play in the area.

Residents are friendly. Some are very shy or often keep to themselves. If someone acts unuruly, management will tell that person to knock it off. Do it too many times or berate your neighbor, you will be evicted. That happened to a few residents here. I've heard a heated argument on a couple of occasions, but they've quickly tampered down. Nothing I would call dangerous. Don't assume management will tolerate consistent unruliness because they won't.

Dogs enjoy this area as well. They seem happy to be around the the park-like atmosphere. But dogs are expected to be on a leash and be faily disciplined. If you got a noisy dog, you're sure to get a complaint. There are various trash points through out the complex also for dog owners to properly dispose of the poop.

The great thing is that this place is very affordable. Some people have lived her for over a decade. But there are a few trade-offs:

-- No Dishwasher (at least not in the 1-bedroom apartments)
-- A swimming pool is in the works

Lots of cabinet and cuboard space in the kitchen. There's even a cupboard for a small laundry bin which I like.

If you're looking for luxury living with chrome fridges and marble counter tops in the center of downtown city life, this is not it.

If you're looking for an affordable place that offers the basics, good management, good maintenance, safe for kids, good security and decent residents, this might be for you.

Overall, I've enjoyed staying here.

I have lived at Summerscape Apartments, since November 2017. I have nothing but good things to say about the place. My town-home has a very spacious floor plan, that is big enough for my family and I.When you walk into the kitchen, you don't feel like you are in your living room at the same time. I have a fenced in backyard, where I can watch my son play outside if he wants. I am very happy with the management. The staff are always super friendly when I go and speak with them. I am very happy with the maintenance. If I have an issue, I report it to the office, whom reports it to maintenance and the issue is fixed ASAP. Overall, I am happy to have Summerscape as my home.
